Step 2: Prepare the text for printing
We print in CMYK colors. For small text sizes and small, black elements (e.g. thin frames), the color should be set so that only the K component is saturated, namely: C0M0Y0K100. Why? Well, the printing machine is a precised device. However, the type of paperon which you print is also involved. Sometimes even the best printer has a problem with hitting the same place four times. Effect? A rainbow border around black elements ... It's better to avoid it, right?
Step 3: Black and printing
Like any other paint, black is not perfectly opaque. We therefore recommend that the black elements be printed on the other, placed on the layer below. It will make black even more black!
If you want to have a large, black inscription on a background of a different color - do not leave white space for this element! Otherwise, you can get a dull effect in the form of a double inscription, resulting from a shift in printing. One of them will be planned black, but the other, visible just below it - white.
Step 4: Black or translucent black?
In complex projects - e.g. on posters https://topdruk24.pl/sklep/plakaty_premium/ where black elements obscure those of a different color, it is necessary to use a certain trick. How to make sure that the element of a different color is not visible under the dark spot? It's enough to add other components to the black fill, i.e. C or M. How much? Opinions are different here. We recommend:
Attention! Complementary components ONLY apply to larger black spots and elements in offset printing . For small details and texts written in small fonts (e.g. 12-point), use step 2.
Step 5: Repeat step 4 also for other black elements
The black pattern doesn't cover anything? Well! Here you can also use the above mentioned padding. It will make you get even deeper black.
